In terms of the Brownings' travel she says they \u2018go straight to our Florence\u2014setting out on the 24th or 5th & travelling the shortest way by Sienna\u2019. According to the Athen\u00e6um they have \u2018vexed\u2019 \u2018Jessie White & her American friends\u2019. White has written a very insulting letter.
