Delâitre’ to send her some combs. She comments on the Italian political situation and its representation in various European periodicals. She also discusses Jessie White Mario being written about in Times ‘as if she were really mad’. She describes the weather and the fact that she has regained some strength though is still ‘a wretched shadow of Ba’ and Blagden must not ‘expect any recreation out of [her]’.
