<value>This is a letter written from Siena, Italy. Barrett Browning praises Blagden’s story and says she would like to know the end. Her only objection is to Agnes’ habit of walking alone at very late hours which Barrett Browning says tests belief. She mentions something about Paul Feval and makes a possible reference to something since omitted on Blagden’s part in Agnes Tremorne. She invites Blagden to dine with them at any time, including with her companion, possibly Elizabeth Temple Hooker.

This letter has been transcribed in 'The Brownings' Correspondence', vol. 28, pp. 122–123 (Kansas: Wedgestone Press, 2022). It is transcribed online via The Brownings' Correspondence project, numbered 4731.</value>
