She says she misses Blagden and looks forward to seeing her soon in Florence. Pen is well. She passes her time like Theodosia Trollope reading newspapers all day. She is consumed by her love and passion for Italy. This is followed by Robert Browning's short portion of the letter in which he mentions Blagden's ‘note to Nencini’.
