    <value>Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, eyelet, satin, tent, double running and stem stitch with some silver metal thread embroidery.  The sampler is divided into eleven bands containing floral repeat patterns, the Lord's Prayer and religious verses.</value>

    <value>Yellow linen band sampler embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, eyelet, satin, tent, double running and stem stitch.  Silver metal thread is worked in satin and stem stitch.  There is a plain selvedge at the bottom; the three other edges are hemmed.   The sampler is divided into eleven horizontal bands by narrow repeating border patterns.  Four sections containing repeat floral border patterns.  The widest section has a central panel containing the Lord's Prayer flanked by angels blowing trumpets and holding palms.
