The sampler is made up of horizontal bands featuring a waved stem, acorn and leaf border pattern, narrow repeat border designs, alphabets, numerals, a wreath with the initials 'A I G' and the date '1826', two winged figures, an angel, a male figure above the initials 'E T', trees, a rainbow, the Temptation of Adam and Eve and an unfinished coat of arms.
