The top section contains the Monogram of Our Lady surrounded by stylized floral sprays, pots and birds, the second the armorial bearings of the Order of the Carmelite nuns and those of the Inquisition flanked by two exotic birds,one the Quetzel the national symbol of Guatamala, a unicorn and deer, and the third a scene of a large animal and a man holding a sword.
