The middle section has the verse' Jesus permit thy gracious name to stand\/As the first efforts of an infants hand\/And while her fingers on the canvas move\/Engage her tender thoughts to see thy love\/With thy dear children let her have a part\/And mark thy name thyself upon her heart', worked which is has a flower, a tree and a flower pot on each side.
