object type: Black basalt, hand-thrown, turned, and printed in gold. Cylindrical with two lathe-turned horizontal depressions in the side, and a flat circular cover (A) with a truncated conical knob with a depression in the top. The sides are decorated with 'The Tower of London' twice over a row of seven canon.
