    <value>Folding fan, double skin leaf, drawn in black ink.  Sticks of lacquered ivory, shaped and pierced; guards of lacquered ivory shaped and pierced (17+2).  Rivet of brass, washer of stamped, hexagonal-shaped brass.  Front: A fishing scene with five men on a rock in the centre and the sea in the background.  On the left, there is a boat with a standing fisherman holding a net on a pole, and on the right, there is a boat with two men sitting and one standing and harpooning. Low vegetation on the left and a bush and a tree on the right.  The top border is of gold foil.  Back: One half of a bridge and a gateway at the end of it.  Sticks:  the sticks are shaped to resemble a wavy floral ribbon with a narrower ribbon forming zigzags around them.  On the bottom there is a row of holes, which form windows when the fan s closed.  Guards:  Both guards are decorated in the same way.  The shoulder is decorated en suite with the sticks, with flowers, leaves and a trellis on the guard proper.</value>
