Below there are polished steel palmettes with three leaves below each. All the polished steels are attached by black silk thread. Sticks and guards of ivory (12+2), the sticks are shaped and pierced with stylized plant motifs and set with a star and three small circular polished steels. The guards are pierced by a wedge-shaped hole laid over a pierced sheet of steel, surrounded by borders of small circular steels.
