    <value>Double paper leaf, printed and decorated with applied gold sequins, stamped spangles and thin spiralling gold wire.  Sticks of pierced and fretted bone; guards of fretted and carved bone backed with gold foil (18+2).  Rivet of brass and washer of mother-of-pearl.  Front:  an oval medallion containing a bust of George III in profile to left surrounded by the Garter inscribed 'LONG LIVE THE KING', with a crown on top, imposed on a sunburst.  Above, there is a ribbon of spiralling gold thread and sequins with a lilac stamped spangle in the middle; on both sides of the ribbon silver doves are sitting on spirals and sequins.  Sprays of threads, sequins and coloured spangles flank the medallion.  The leaf is bordered with gold foil.  Back:  undecorated.  Sticks: Each stick is decorated with a flower with a very long stem.  Guards:  both guards are decorated in the same way with long sprays of flowers and an undecorated shoulder.</value>
