Bone sticks and guards (16+2) pierced and set with sequins and gilt. Rivet with paste button securing also the metal carrying loop. The leaf is divided into three sections by radial stripes. In the centre there is a shaped cartouche containing a monument to the Independence of Belgium; on each side there are oval cartouches containing bust portraits of Leopold I and his wife Louise d'Orleans (married 1832).
