object type: Canvas, ground unworked.   Ruyi symbols at top and tree peony and prunus worked with polychrome silks, originally outlined in silver metallic thread (little remaining) in tent stitch.   Similar design of flowers and foliage on both sides.
Case partially lined with red silk, stiffened with thin board;  inner lining of unbleached linen.   Sewn-in end of black silk, side edges and tops bound with black and white woven silk ribbon.   Flat green cord with one pink glass bead.
