object type: Red satin embroidered with couched silver metallic thread; blue silk thread couched or held between metal threads.   Ruyi symbol at top, small repeating trellis pattern, both sides similar.  Case partially lined with blue satin, stiffened with board;  top and edges bound with blue and cream ribbon with narrow yellow and white piping along inner edge. Sewn-in (now almost detatched) end of blue satin.   Round yellow cord with two knotted beads of silver metallic thread.
