The globular body is moulded with overlapping acanthus leaves, and stands on six rudimentary feet. The loop handle is applied with three studded bands, and the slightly domed cover is surmounted by an applied oak leaf and acorn knop. Both pieces are painted in with garden flowers among scattered butterflies and insects.
