Decorated on the front with 'Farming' from the New England Industries series: a circular view of a man cutting corn in a partly wooded landscape with a farmstead on the left, and in the foreground, a flask, fork, scythe and other tools. The rim forms a white surround. The back is printed in black: 'FARMING Matching their fortitude to the strength of the earth, the first New England settlers, who arrived in "The Mayflower", brought forth a bountiful harvest from the new land. The rhythm in the lives of the New England farmers, in its seasonal pattern, will go onward the same.
