object type: Base metal milled or stamped, assembled, gilt and set with four rows of emerald pastes: closely spaced; smaller, spaced; small in groups of three; and large oval closely spaced. A pin has been soldered to the back. A tortoiseshell comb, formerly attached to the lower edge, accompanies it.
