  <description>
    <value>Devices on the broad sides: (a) man advancing towards altar holding indistinct object (branch or rhyton?); (b) goddess with raised arms standing frontally wearing elaborate flounced dress, palm-frond(?) in field. Devices on narrow sides: &#xC2;&#xA9; star and crescent; (d) palm-frond. the goddess of side (b) shows ancient recutting, with symbols or attributes erased by scratching the surface beside her left hand and above her right arm; her right arm (originally bent, with the hand to the breast) has also been recut in antiquity to change the goddess into her present hieratic pose; possibly originally also framed by lines.</value>
