<note>
        <value>"This fine art facsimile volume is a complete and faithful recreation of the manuscript by William de Brailes MS 106 in the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, and the seven William de Brailes’ folios in the Musée Marmottan, Collection Wildenstein, Paris. The binding is a replica of the current original binding (for Léon Gruel, Paris before 1903) with a double-sided ivory panel from the 14th century. This unique edition appears in a limited number of 980 copies numbered in Arabic numerals. A further 80 copies, numbered in Roman numerals, are destined exclusively for documentation and archive purposes... Faksimile Verlag Luzern assumed the overall publishing responsibility... The replica of the ivory panel was recreated by the restauration expert André Glauser, Fräschels. The bookbinding artwork including the silverframe and brassclasps was done by the bookbinder’s workshop Mayer, Stuttgart."—Colophon
Facsimile bound in red velvet with replica ivory panel set within silver frame; with brassclasps. Commentary bound in blue cloth. Issued in hand-made leather box, set with a window of acrylic grass in order to display the ivory replicate.</value>
