  <description>
    <value>Figure is wearing an alb and a stole crossed on his chest and held by a girdle. His two hands seem once to have held objects, perhaps instruments of the Passion. Over his long thick curling hair is placed a twisted band; the face is crudely executed, especially the huge eyes. The figure stands on the abacus of a plain octagonal capital, from which depends a screw. In the middle of the back are marks where the wings were probably fixed. Perhaps originally from a lecturn.</value>
