object type: Grey stoneware cosmetic box with impressed and incised decoration. The lower part has a rounded base and sides which narrow at the top to create a slight shoulder covered by the deep, domed cover. The lower part of the sides are decorated with eight incised circles, each containing five radiating lines. Above, there is a zone of vertical rows of impressed marks and a zone of slanting rows of impressed marks. 
The cover has a zone of vertical rows of impressed marks.

The interior has brownish accretions and there are brown stains on one side of the box and cover.
