object type: Bronze. The figure crouches on a shallow base of bronze, naked except for a cloak thrown over the left shoulder and falling onto the ground at the back. His right knee almost touches the ground and his right arm touches the right knee as he bends forward to whet the knife on the stone, which he holds firmly on the ground with his left hand. He gazes up to the right. Dark brown patina, slightly polished.
