object type: Copper alloy, probably bronze. Cupid is balanced on his left leg, loosing an arrow (lost). He has a fairly large head, small sloping shoulders, a well-defined chest, pot-belly, indented navel, tiny genitals, and thick-set limbs. His face has a prominent forehead, chubby cheeks, lemon-shaped eyes, a puggish nose and a small double-chin. Modern, cast-on circular base.
