DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: Hard-paste porcelain moulded and glazed overall except for the flat edge of the underside, which is slightly concave and has three large 'patch marks', and a small circular ventilation hole under the viewer's right end. The oval base has a moulding round the edge, and is moulded in slight relief to resemble a grassy ground and rises up into a rock on the right. The slender woman has curling hair drawn back from her forehead and hanging down in two strands onto her shoulders. She is nude apart from her sandals, and a drape over her right thigh. She reclines with her right leg slightly bent and crossed over her left, and leans on her left elbow supported by the rock. Her head is turned over her right shoulder and tilted slightly downwards, and her right hand rests on the drape.
