The unglazed underside has a circular ventilation hold near the back. The approximatelycircular low mound base is decoratied on its top with three groups of applied green leaves and at the front with a blue and yellow flower. At the back there is a square structure of redish-brown bricks which supports the figure. The cook stands on his left foot with his right leg extended to his right side. In his left hand he holds a large dish with a gold edge, containing a raised pie containing mushrooms, and in his right hand holds a mushroom (?). He has brown hair tied back in a black bag with a bow, delicately painted features, a white shirt and coat, black breeches with a gold buckle at the right knee, and black shoes with gold buckles.
