The underside is convex in the middle, and has a large ventilation hole on the viewer's left. The figure stands on a low, circular base with a rock at the front, and on the viewer's left, a tree stump streaked with green, blue, yellow and brown.. The youth has blonde hair, partly covered by a green hat with the brim turned up at the front, and has the remains of a feather behind it. He wears a white shirt, a white jacket and breeches scattered with small dark purple circlesand lined with pale blue; pale purple stockings and yellow shoes with grey buckles. He steps forward on his right leg and has his left extended behind him. His left arm is bent and the back of the hand rests on his hip.
