object type: Gold and stoneware; oval box with straight sides and a flat hinged lid set with an oval blue jasper plaque of a white stylised flowerhead within a ring of white dots, at the centre is an applied gold dot.  The gold sides, base and lid of the box are engraved with decorative bands of engine turning.  The interior is fitted with a grill drilled with concentric rings of small holes.
