The pot has a wide base and tapers towards the projecting rim and lip. The tubular handle expands towards the closed and rounded end which is pierced by a hole. The cover is concave on top, with an almost flat circular knob. The front of the pot is decorated with a plant spray of two leaves flanking a tall composite flower with two blue curving stems on either side. A wide brown band encircles the rim and lip, the edge of the cover and the exterior of the knob.
