Three fullers run almost the full length of the blade. The hilt comprises a figure-8 guard with wings and langets with stylised lotus bud terminals, thin grip with a moulded waist towards the pommel, and a deep dish pommel with a chrysanthemum flower washer, medial dome and a pierced finial.
