object type: The blade is single edged and curved, with a flat back and a hollow ground. At the forte is a lotus bud-shaped reinforce held on by two rivets, one partly detached. The hilt is also of steel, with a beaked pommel and waisted grip, completely plain, formed of three pieces brazed together and to the tang, at the end is a small loop
