The hilt is formed of two long rectangular section bars joined by a grip formed of two bars of round section, swelling slightly to their centres, and by a V-shaped bar attached to the blade. The hilt is decorated with a floral diaper in silver koftgari, most of which is now lost. The hilt is broken in two between the grips.
