The tall body of this maebyong-shaped vase curves in a long S-shaped outline from the shoulder to the flat base, and has a melon-shaped section with eight indents. The mouth has been repaired and was originally probably wider. The clay body is very thick, and is covered with overall kiln gloss and accidental glaze from falling wood ash. A saggar fragment is attached where the shoulder swells to its widest.
