Silver-gilt and rock crystal; the twelve-sided tube of rock crystal is mounted with pierced bands of silver-gilt embossed with four putti heads alternating with four coloured stones, and borders of filigree. The circular foot stands on a facetted rock crystal knop over a raised border of filigree set with four red stones, on a vertical band pieced and embossed with four putti heads alternating with four coloured stones, above a filigree border surrounded by sixteen coloured stones and a rope edge. The domed cover is of filigree over a solid lining, and is set with three borders of coloured stones. The finial of a female saint holding a sword stands on a facetted rock cystal knop.
