object type: Irish oak, turned and carved. Of elongated ovoid form with a double rim, the outer one larger and a different shape from the inner one, which has a hole on one side under the outer rim. The edge of the outer rim is bordered by close-set carved striations. On one side of the exterior there is a subsantial knot in the wood.
