The mail is all of riveted construction. The sleeves are cut at an angle. Each link is forged with a Koranic inscription. Low of the left front skirt is a blob of lead incised with an illegible mark. At the neck is a collar with dags, formed of brass butted links and iron links in alternate rows of riveted links and theta-shaped solid links in a geometric pattern.
