Reddish black in colour. There are four iron bosses, onion-shaped with petalled flanges, at the centre, retaining iron loops inside with the remains of one of the straps and a fragment of the square pad. The bosses are decorated with floral bands and petals, and retain traces of gilding. The surface inside and out is considerably chipped.
