Stoneware, thrown, moulded and celadon-glazed. This is a shallow bowl with a low foot. The outside is plain, while the inside is moulded in low relief with a peony scroll with six fully opened blooms, with veins clearly rendered, enclosed by a classic-scroll border. The thin body has a pale bluish-green glaze, evenly applied and without any crackle. Three quartzite spur-marks can be seen on the base.
