This is a well-shaped set, the round-bodied cup with a slightly incurved mouth, and a small foot, and the stand with a broad everted rim, a domed support for the cup, and a wide foot which gives it a stable appearance. The set is of fine clay and thinly potted; the glaze has a clear jade colour with a subtle gloss, is evenly applied and has almost no crackle.
