    <value>The steel blade is straight and double edged, with a single asymmetrical fuller running most of its length. Incised at either side of the fuller are medallions with flower bud finials, inscribed in gold overlay with inscriptions in Armenian &#x2018;Xazeresov&#x2019; and &#x2018;Estiphs&#x2026;&#x2019;. The hilt is of bone, of waisted form attached by two copper alloy rivets set with turquoises in copper alloy settings. The scabbard is of wood covered in red velvet over red leather, with silver chape and top locket, both decorated in niello with sprays of flowers, the top locket with a iron  band with a suspension loop, decorated on the outside with flower in gold overlay.</value>
