    <value>The blade broad, slightly curved, yori mune, medium kissaki, broad undulating hamon with two shadows, swirling around dots. Signed on the tang. Plain iron mokko tsuba decorated with chiselled lengthwise striations and one kozuka-hitsu, unsigned. Grip bound with black lacing, half lost and covered with modern tape. Fuchi kashira of shakudo decorated with gold shishi in a grassy landscape. Scabbard inlaid with mother of pearl and lacquered.  Menuki on the katana of gilt shishi, kozuka iron with three plovers and pines in copper and silver inlay, the kogatana signed CHIKUSHU MIIKE JU HIROMASA.
