  <description>
    <value>Hemispherical steel skull with a top spike, a long curved nasal with lotus bud finials at top and quatrefoil at the bottom, attached by a staple and wing screw. There are two plume tubes. The skull is decorated with chiselled and gilt hunting scenes in which riders with spears, bows and swords slay a variety of wildlife. Around the base are calligraphic medallions in nastaliq. A mail aventail, formed of butted mail, is attached, formed of a fringe at the front, four deep and four shallow dags at the sides and rear. The mail is extensively damaged. The skull is lined with red cotton edged with green and white tape.</value>
