    <value>Bowl with cranes and clouds. Stoneware, thrown, inlaid in black and white slip and celadon-glazed. This shallow rounded bowl has a low footring. The inside is inlaid with a pair of cranes with entwined necks forming a medallion, enclosed by a youi-head border and surrounded by six cranes in flight among clouds and a classic-scroll rim border, all inlaid in white with a few details in black slip. The outside is decorated with four peony-spray medallions within a broad border of scrollwork which is reserved against a background of inlaid black slip, enclosed between a classic-scroll rim border and a petal border below. The base shows traces of three quartzite spurs, the rim has gilt repairs.</value>
