  <description>
    <value>Silver, parcel-gilt. The spoon's oval bowl is attached by three loops on its back to a three-fronged fork. The base of the handle is hinged and the folding mechanism held in place by a slide. The hexagonal handle has a finial in the form of a female term. The front of the spoon is gilt, and the back has a gilt rim and stylised flower. The silver-gilt slide is in the form of a grotesque mask. The silver-gilt finial unscrews to reveal a tiny spoon and two hooks, which are hinged to the base of the term.</value>
