The handle of the fork is formed from a gilt cylinder within an openwork silver cylinder, which is decorated with cut-out oval shapes. At the base of the handle is an applied openwork scroll set with a red stone. The finial is formed as an articulated model of a man in a short skirt pushing a wheelbarrow, which slides up and down the handle. The man's hat is set with a red stone and his back with a green stone. The lid of the barrow is set with a blue stone, which lifts up to reveal a baby.
