object type: Silver; the fig-shaped bowl is attached to the back of the handle by a flat lozenge shape, which enables the spoon to stand.  The hollow pentagonal handle terminates with an applied shield.  The front of the bowl is engraved with an acanthus leaf; the back is engraved with strapwork and sylised foliage.  The flat base of the handle is engraved with three flowers.  The front and two sides of the handle are engraved with a pattern of lines and dots.  The terminal is engraved with a coat-of-arms beneath the initials 'IF'.
