object type: Silver, parcel-gilt; the deep circular bowl is attached at the back by an applied silver-gilt fleur-de-lis and shield to the cast lower section of the bowl.  The front of this section depicts a cherub holding a palm or large sheaf of wheat.  Above him are various heraldic emblems, including a coat-of-arms and crest.  On the back at the base is the mask of a man.  The upper section of the handle is baluster-shaped between a series of turned knops.  The silver-gilt finial is in the form of a pomegranate, which has split open.  The back of the spoon is initialled 'GP'.  The back of the handle is inscribed ' 'III' and 'LIBE * IST * DIE * GRÖSTETUGEND *'
