    <value>silver, parcel-gilt; deep circular bowl on handle cast with cherub and armorials; with cast pomegranate finial</value>
  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Silver, parcel-gilt; the deep circular bowl is attached at the back by an applied silver-gilt fleur-de-lis and shield to the cast lower section of the bowl. The front of this section depicts a cherub holding a palm or large sheaf of wheat. Above him are various heraldic emblems, including a coat-of-arms and crest. On the back at the base is the mask of a man. The upper section of the handle is baluster-shaped between a series of turned knops. The silver-gilt finial is in the form of a pomegranate, which has split open. The back of the spoon is initialled 'GP'. The back of the handle is inscribed ' 'III' and 'LIBE * IST * DIE * GR&#xD6;STETUGEND *'
