The handless cup has curved sides and stands on a footring. The circular saucer has shallow curved sides and stands on a footring.One side of the cup is decorated with a girl and her lover seated beside a stunted tree in a landscape, and on the other with a gold floral spray and two insects. Inside there are four tiny sprigs. dThe cup is decorated with a peasant girl seated on a rock beside a stunted tree, and in the background, a carriage entering the walled grounds of a large villa. The rims of both pieces are encircled by a gold band.</value>
