Porcelain, thrown, painted in cobalt-blue and glazed. The cylindrical neck of this dragon jar (yongjonhang) is slightly everted, the lower part of the tall body slightly flared and the foot gently bevelled, with a high footring. The domed cover (A) has a knob in the shape of a lotus bud. The neck is decorated with clouds, the shoulder with a youi-head border and two dragons chasing flaming pearls among clouds cover the body. Parallel lines encircle the rim, the shoulder and the foot. The cover is also painted with clouds and a bud motif on the knob. The glaze is of pale bluish-white tone, the body is thick. The jar was fired on supports made of fire-clay mixed with sand.
